Water Safety & Responsible Use
UVANIRO / HELP & INFORMATION
Equipment is only one part of a responsible swim.
Supervision matters
Use suitable swimming areas and follow lifeguard directions. Children and inexperienced swimmers need close, appropriate supervision. Owning accessories is not evidence of swimming ability.
Training aids are not rescue devices
Kickboards, pull buoys, paddles and fins are intended as activity accessories. They must not be relied upon to prevent drowning or replace approved life-saving equipment.
Introduce resistance gradually
Seek instruction before introducing paddles, fins or unfamiliar drills. Stop if you feel pain, breathlessness, dizziness or unusual fatigue and seek appropriate help.
Fit and condition
Inspect your gear and check that wearables do not cause pain or irritation. Follow product instructions and pool rules. Avoid sharing close-contact accessories without appropriate cleaning.
Open water needs separate planning
A pool accessory is not a substitute for an open-water safety plan, suitable conditions, companions or approved equipment. Consider local guidance before any activity.
